Welcome to a large-scale community beautification project. This extensive undertaking involved the cleaning and staining of over 400 linear feet of western red cedar privacy fencing. Situated in Oakville, this project required coordinating with multiple homeowners to ensure a seamless, uniform aesthetic across property lines.
Project Overview
The primary goal was to protect the massive investment the homeowners made in premium cedar fencing. Left untreated, cedar quickly turns a splotchy silver-grey. We aimed to apply a rich, semi-transparent stain that heavily blocks UV rays while allowing the beautiful natural cedar grain to show through.

Project Goals and Objectives:
To deliver a highly functional and long-lasting protective barrier, we first treated the entire fence line to remove mill glaze and open the wood pores. We then utilized commercial HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) spray systems to evenly deliver heavy-duty oil-based stain into every crevice, followed by hand-brushing exactly to the property line without overspray.
